Brief notice of Battle-Pieces in Cleveland: "musical and meritorious"

Mr. Melville has written some very musical and meritorious lines commemorative of battle-scenes, battle-grounds, and the memory of fallen heroes. The present volume is a collection of poems upon subjects introduced by the late war, and some of them of a high order of literary merit. It is entertaining, and will doubtless enjoy extensive popularity.
